Mckenzie founded Travel House Films in 2016 with a desire to tell true stories that are deeply meaningful to people. She is an intentional wedding cinematographer, who has a natural sense for organic storytelling through visuals and audio.
Every wedding film honors the history of the couple, the emotions of present moments, and the future journey ahead.
After years of weddings, including her own intimate wedding in Italy, Mckenzie has developed a style that connects deeply with its intended viewers.

Less is more. I love when my clients plan with space to breathe on the wedding day. This is also how I edit my films. I let them breathe to build genuine emotion.

I believe joy is produced from gratitude and giving. This is how I view my films. It is so much more than a job. It is a long-lasting priceless gift to my couples.
03 INTIMATE FAMILY CONNECTION
Whether wedding or elopement, I am constantly thinking about how to unite families through my films. Even a family member who wasn’t able to attend should feel like they were present through the film.

My hope is that my clients will feel confident in my work and be able to put away technology to experience real moments. And at the same time, I find ways to make sure my equipment is not distracting to that experience.

My Love Story
FAMILY
My husband, Jonathan, is my best friend and such an inspiration to me. We met in India in 2017 while I was working on a video project for his dad’s organization. We connected on our foundational faith in Jesus, our love for our businesses, and our family values.
We love weaving together Indian hospitality, American drive, and global impact. And our baby boy, Asher, is our favorite little person.
While Jonathan doesn’t work weddings with me, he is my favorite person to show my films to before I deliver them. He has a natural eye for quality.
